What sub-provincial projections are available for NL?
Projection scenarios are available for Newfoundland and Labrador's 11 census divisions and census subdivisions (communities) with a population of 800 or more.
There are 10 different projection scenarios (e.g. low-growth, medium-growth, high-growth, fast-aging) that show how the population may change over a 25-year period (2024-2049).
The population scenarios are broken down by age group and gender. This provides insight into how the number of children, working-adult, and senior age groups may change over the next 25 years.
